THE CLIENT
LARK Skin Co. is an all-natural skincare company based in Webster Groves. Originally a solely social media client, LARK asked me to slowly take on more projects until I joined the team full time in November 2018 as Creative Director with a goal to create a cohesive brand and launch LARK into our next phase of growth.
THE TASK
To completely revise the LARK brand: including messaging (mission, vision, values), visual identity (logo, brand colors), product naming and more. Digitally launch a brand new ecommerce website, social and email marketing campaign.
THE RESULT
Engagement: After the rebrand, social engagement increased on all channels, specifically resulting in three times more user-generated content.
Sales: Since the company’s rebrand, LARK has increased sales 180%, orders have increased 120%, and online sessions increased 215% all over the previous period.
Feedback and Data: A few months after introducing the rebrand, we launched a comprehensive marketing campaign called the Campaign for Confidence as the nationwide launch of the rebrand. In a small, randomly selected focus group, 100% of the participants said the new messaging resonated with them and they would purchase LARK Skin Co. based on three factors: authenticity of message, clout of campaign participants and overall product branding.
We also received positive feedback from mass retailers at a trade show in October which have turned into continued conversations today.
